Canada visa requirements :

Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum 6 months and a notarized copy of full

passport (including blank pages). Attach all your old passports (if any)

Photo Specification: 2 recent photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face

coverage, white background and without border met finish. (Size: 35mm x 45mm)

Covering Letter: 2 Blank Letter Pad from applicant mentioning name, designation, passport

number, purpose and duration of visit in brief. The letter should be duly signed by authorized

signatory with company stamp and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Canadian High

Commission, New Delhi India. Please Note: Covering-Letter on Letterhead if applicant is Self

Employed or on plain paper if employed.

If Visiting Family/Relative:

Invitation Letter: If visiting relatives or friends, a letter of invitation from the relative or friend in

Canada.

a) Proof of legal status of the host in Canada (Passport and Visa Copies).

b) If relative or friend is paying for the visit then their financials need to be attached (Bank

Statement for last 6 months)

c) Residence Proof

d) Employment Proof.

If Visiting for Honeymoon: Following documents has to be submitted along with the visa

application.

a) NOC letter from parent’s girl side and passport copy.

b) Original wedding card in English.

c) Original engagement photos

Financials

If Employed:

a) Personal ITR for last 3yrs

b) Last 3 months salary slip.

c) Leave sanction letter and NOC from Employer.

c) Personal Bank Statement mini 2.5 lac balance per person for last 6 months with bank stamp

sign.

Family Detail-

---applicant parents date of birth, if expire then expiry date, all children and brother,

sister detail-like-date of birth, occupation name and address.

If Self Employed:

a) Personal & Company ITR for last 3yrs

b) Personal & Company Bank Statement for last six months (Mini balance 3.5 lac per person)

Proof of Occupation

If Self Employed:

a) Company Registration Certificate / Certificate of Incorporation

b) Brief Company Profile

c) Articles of Memorandum (In case the applicant is MD/Director)

d) Proof of Proprietorship / Partnership (In case applicant is Proprietor / Partner in a firm)

e) Import / Export License (if applicable)

Retired:

a) A retirement certificate indicating amount of your pension.

Extra Financial Documents:

a) Fix Deposit, LIC, Post office Savings, HUF, Mutual Funds’ Investments, and Share

Investments, Property Documents.

Educational Documents:

a) Last Degree Certificate.

Student:

a) Leave Sanction Letter from school and School ID
